Great garter belt for the priceJan 21, 2011
By Chantillace019 I looked all over Amazon for a garter belt and this was one where I could feel confident in my purchase. I bought the one in white and it was shipped very soon, and fits wonderfully. I would check with the sizing to make sure you get the right fit. Since I'm petite, I got the XS/S and it's perfect. It hooks on with a button behind your stocking, and there is a clasp that fits over it to form a lock. You can walk and sit down and run in it, although I wouldn't say that it's "heavy duty". That title is most likely reserved for garter belts with more than four clasps. The clasps on this one are made of sturdy plastic and the buttons of a (gel/poly-plastic material?). I did buy it really to hold up my stockings as opposed to having "that look", so I'll see if there's any trouble in the future. If you're just looking for a nice inexpensive garter belt that works well for a 4-clasper, this one works fine.

By erik Our first foray into the world of garters, but this was an excellent start. It looks nice, fits, and is functional. We got white (I have my own hangups on white...it's my fave colour, but I'm told it ain't so fashionable). Would absolutely have no problem ordering more in differing colours. And for her first experience, she was kinda pleased with this...not slutty, nor over the top controlling (ala earlier fashions that seemed to be a torture device). A very functional garter, a great start, or if you're used to them, a great one to have in the drawer.
