I should have remembered that if something sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't true. Sadly, this $50. item doesn't do anything that a pair of Legg's control top sheer energy pantyhose wouldn't do better and for a whole lot less money. It is not that I had unrealistic expectations, or thought it would magically transform me into a size 6. I just wanted support and smoothness for my tummy & hips & lower back - all of which I receive with a regular "girdle," but was hoping that the taller waistband would eliminate the muffin-top the girdle gives me. No, it does not give me a muffin top, but that is because there really is no "girdle-like" compression through the stomach or hips. Yes it would leave no pantylines, but I wouldn't say it smooths out the silhouette at all. Also unfortunately, the legs definitely show through a pair of pants (which again control top panty hose wouldn't do). It does seem to be well made, but given that it takes a lot of pulling and twisting to get it up and in place, I wonder whether it will truly last without running. Also, there is a heavy-duty seam that runs up the front of the garment that would show through anything in the least bit body-hugging. So overall, why bother with wearing it if it doesn't really do anything except make it take longer to get dressed and difficult to go to the restroom during the day? I highly doubt I will ever think it worth bothering with, so that's $50. down the drain (or stuffed in the back of a drawer).

By nancy durbin I have this in black also. I didn't see any weight loss, but did provide a smoother line for my knit dresses. So I'm not unhappy about the product. But one thing you should be aware of is that it is very hard to put on. I'm 5' 7" ,weigh 124, and am a woman in my early 60s. I bought a small. The first try on. I thought I would have to return it. But kept at it and finally got it on. Whew! Took about 3 min.! But it does get better. Over all I like this product, the high waist stays where it should. But don't expect weight loss.

By M. Chang I received the product and found out that on the packaging it says "Do not use during pregnancy and breastfeeding". I was hoping that it would help me slim down a little bit before returning to work from my maternity leave. Unfortunately I am breastfeeding and according to the packaging - I can't use it. This disclaimer should have been listed in the product description. I will have to return the product.

By Mrs.Leer This does not slim as well as it advertises. But, it did change my figure a little. It doesn't slim the thighs as well as the rest of me. I still wear it. It's a little hard to put on at first. I've only had it for a couple of days. So, as far as the long term results, I'm not sure. It does help my clothes fit better. I'd say that it's a good product, but for the money, you could probably find something for a little less that gives the same instant results.
