Product seems well-constructed and materials seem to be of a decent quality, but it is NOT backless as advertised. The back comes down just below your shoulder blades, so it has a low back but is definitely not backless.

The two body shapers I bought- none of them fit comfortably. I am size M and needed a stripless shaper to make the costume dress fit better. Two major problems: the leg cut is too small, cuts into skin, leaving marks and causing discomfort, so you always remember you wear this torturous underware. Had to ask our costume dept to make the leg cuts higher, to the hips, so it looks better and fits with less discomfort. Next problem was The Bones. OMG, they really did a lot of work in that one! I have counted 12(!!!) and it is not necessary to have so much metal in your body, unless you are knight and wear armour. Took ALL out. Otherwise was not possible to seat down or bend. So these two problems are the major mistakes that manufactures did. Also. If desided to buy it, get a size bigger, as "size to size" will be too small and half plus size - still feels it could be half size more space..( I repeat, I am size M and quite slim). Definitely NOT worse of the price they are selling it for.
